Hmmm.... Old Navy is a clothing brand in the US and Puny Turt still managed to find this wonderfully cute turtle from the store. Well done puny!!! Its a well made turtle with very good material (explains the high price) Very friendly looking and mades your gloomy day happy just by looking at him. Can be played by babies as there a bell that sounds when you shake it.

My heart dropped when I saw the picture of "turtle 44," the Old Navy Turtle. We had that same turtle, and it was my son's absolute favorite toy. I bought the turtle as one of only a few toys that I bought for him before he was born (he had 2 older sisters so didn't need much...). Little did I know at the time I bought it how precious that turtle would become. From the time Will was very small, he became attached to that turtle. People who were only acquaintances knew us just because they had seen him so often with "Turtle" (as he was so rightly named). Our family photos even have Turtle in them.
However, as so often is the case, Turtle went missing one day. I suspect, the then 2-year old Will put him in the trash not realizing what that meant. Every once in a while (especially when he walks by the family photo hanging on the wall), Will says something about wanting Turtle back. Today, though, broke my heart: I asked him what he wanted Santa to bring him, and he said, without hesitation, "Just my missing Turtle. Santa has to have it." I felt so badly for him and decided that I HAD to at least try to see if there was a Turtle clone out there somewhere. So, I did a google search, which led me to your blog. Any chance you'd be willing to give up that turtle (I'd pay you, of course!)?
